The Beginning
Founded in 1996 by Pascual Ramirez, Pamex Foods Inc. is one the largest Hispanic-owned distributor company in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Pamex provides clients with over 3 000 high-quality and affordable products from Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Pascual Ramirez arrived in Maryland from Oaxaca, Mexico. He started working in a company that distributes cleaning supplies. During those five years as an employee, he began to have a vision of creating a family business for Latin consumers.
At first, Pascual started delivering by himself to a few stores in Maryland. With effort, sacrifice, and hard work Pamex Foods Inc. became an established company. Then help came along, having three of his eleven siblings flown from Mexico to be part of the success and growth of the business.
Working together, the Ramirez brothers earned the trust of Latin American markets, supermarkets, and Mexican Restaurants, across the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and above. Approaching markets in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.
Pamex Foods Inc. has fostered a longstanding trajectory distributing to over 150 stores. Our logistic network is in constant innovation. To overcome difficulties and fulfill the needs of our clients. Nowadays, Pamex owns two warehouses and over ten trucks. Our goal is to deliver as soon as possible.
